Feb. 4--ALBANY -- Adventist Nursing Home Inc. in Livingston, Columbia County, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing debts of nearly $3.2 million.

Operating losses at the 120-bed facility on Route 9 rose for three consecutive years, culminating in a deficit of $750,000 in 2004, according to the petition filed Monday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Albany.

The petition listed assets of nearly $4 million.

Adventist is owned by the Greater New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, a church group based in Manhasset, Nassau County. However, the …
