Feb. 4--LAKELAND -- When the crowd of 1,170 people gathered Thursday night at the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting, it was all about Harleys.

The theme for the event was "Where the Rubber Meets the Road," and many guests took organizers up on the invitation to wear leather. The new, 2005 model motorcycles were on display, and the Harley-Davidson Motor Co. logo was all around.
