Feb. 4--SANTA PAULA -- An attorney for the bankrupt Santa Paula Memorial Hospital said Thursday that he will look at options with other developers after one asked to withdraw a $13.1 million bid for a vacant parcel owned by the hospital.

Comstock Homes of Manhattan Beach was the highest bidder for the 16-acre parcel to be developed for housing on the site of bankrupt hospital.

Attorney Jay Michaelson, representing the hospital, said Comstock lowered its bid by a significant amount out of concern about how many acres could be used for housing.
