Superfund discussion could again dominate at Butte-Silver Bow council.

Feb. 2--Butte-Silver Bow commissioners will hear the state's perspective on the Butte Priority Soils Superfund site at this week's meeting.

They'll also discuss possibly sending a letter of concern about the site to Montana's Congressional delegation in Washington, D.C., and to top U.S. Environmental Protection Agency officials.

Joe Griffin, project manager for the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, will discuss his agency's position on EPA's proposed plan, at the invitation of Commissioner Joe Lee.
