FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ For the second straight year, Nathan Horton's season has been cut short by an injury to his left shoulder.
The Panthers' prized right wing will undergo season-ending surgery today in San Antonio after re-injuring the same shoulder that was repaired last year. Horton will require four to six months of rehabilitation, said his agent, Paul Krepelka.
Horton, playing for the Panthers' American League affiliate during the NHL lockout, missed the Rampage's first seven games while recovering from surgery that took place in March. In December, Horton dislocated his shoulder and missed the next 14 games. He …
