JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ All signs point toward Philadelphia wide receiver Terrell Owens making a comeback in the Super Bowl. Owens took part in a portion of the Eagles' 30-play practice Monday and coach Andy Reid thought Owens looked good.
``We limited what he did, and he did it well, and he did it with the team,'' Reid said. ``He moved around pretty well. We'll see how he continues, see how he feels tomorrow and the rest of the week.''
Owens was not available Monday. He has not played since Dec. 19, when he broke the non-weight bearing bone in his right leg against Dallas. Owens led the Eagles with 77 catches for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Reid said Owens took part in ``less than one-third'' of the 30 plays in practice. There has been debate over whether Owens would be able to play with the team doctor saying he wouldn't clear Owens last week, but Owens saying he expected to play if he could.
Philadelphia free safety Brian Dawkins said he expects Owens to play. ``I wouldn't bet against it,'' Dawkins said.
``He looked pretty smooth out there,'' tight end L.J. Smith said. ``He's not trying to push it. He's getting his timing down and he caught a couple balls.''
