DURHAM, N.C. _ Seth Greenberg won't soon forget his first trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium as an ACC coach.
Second-ranked Duke took advantage of 22 first-half fouls by Virginia Tech to win 100-65 on Sunday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
J.J. Redick scored 29 and Shelden Williams 25 with 17 rebounds as the Blue Devils recovered nicely from a 75-66 loss to Maryland on Wednesday.
But even as Duke (16-1, 6-1 ACC) moved into a first-place tie with North Carolina in the ACC, Greenberg was the show. Hands on hips, shaking his head, he argued the discrepancy in fouls.
Referee Stephen Gordon called Greenberg for two technical fouls, the second of which ejected Greenberg with 4 minutes, 39 seconds left. Greenberg pointed at Gordon and cursed while leaving the floor.
Then Greenberg questioned the security at Cameron Indoor Stadium. He said he almost was poked in the eye as he left the court.
