Jan. 30--ARCADE OWNER FORCING DECISIONS TO BE MADE: Finally, after nearly 15 years of indecision, someone is forcing the issue on what to do with the downtown Dayton Arcade.
Arcade owner Tony Staub, who took the huge white elephant off former developer Tom Danis' hands last year, is giving up his dream of renovating the historic complex that has been largely vacant since the early 1990s. On Friday, Staub confirmed he wants to sell the Arcade for $6 million or ultimately raze it.
I don't blame Staub.
