Jan. 31--Stan L. Albrecht, the farm boy from Wayne County, is starting his first day as Utah State University president with students.
Tuesday's 7:30 a.m. breakfast, Albrecht says, is more than symbolic. "I want the students to realize that the reason this university is here is for them."
It might be the last time students see Albrecht in Logan for a while.
He will be in Salt Lake City, where the university opened an office in December, meeting with legislators, business owners, alumni and friends.
