Jan. 31--Auditors say Easton's Weed and Seed program has properly spent the balance of a Northampton County grant that county officials were threatening to revoke if the money was not used.

The county gave Weed and Seed $195,000 over three years. About $73,000 of it was unspent as of a July audit.

That money since has been spent to improve a neighborhood park and pay for police overtime, supplies and consultants.
