MILWAUKEE _ Freddie Mitchell made the most outrageous statement of the National Football League playoffs two weeks ago, and only seven days remain for rest of the league to catch up. ``I want to thank my hands for being so great,'' said the Philadelphia Eagles' third or fourth best receiver.

A man who would thank his hands should demand an apology from his brain, and I'd like to tell him that, but it's never a good idea to interrupt someone while he's having a conversation with his body parts. Say the wrong thing, and they might all storm off in different directions.
