MTC Technologies has been selected, under an existing task order, to install armor on 300 multi-purpose vehicles in Iraq.

The "up-armoring" is a joint effort of the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) and is part of a larger goal to add armor to all tactical vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan.
