Jan. 28--OK, diet's over. Time to put an end to this post-holiday calorie-counting nonsense.
Claim Jumper is finally here.
Thursday was only the second full day of business for the new restaurant anchoring El Con's southeast corner at East Broadway and North Dodge Boulevard, but customers were trickling in even before the 11 a.m. opening.
It is the 34th restaurant for the privately held, California-based chain that started in 1977 near Los Angeles. There are three in the Phoenix area.
Advertising has been minimal, so word of mouth is at work. …
