Jan. 22--R.R. Donnelley & Sons is considering a $20 million expansion of its Harrisburg Pike plant that would create 93 jobs.
The 47,000-square-foot addition, roughly the size of a supermarket, would increase the plant's capacity to print catalogs, according to a plan filed with the city and sources familiar with the project.
The facility, which also prints phone books, already encompasses 773,000 square feet -- an area about as large as Rockvale Square Outlets -- and employs 1,072 workers.
It is unclear whether or when the project will go forward.
