Jan. 22--NEW DELHI -- There's good news for the pharma industry after a hiatus of almost six months. The latest numbers released for December point at the industry's recovery.

Last month's 7.2 percent growth should bring some relief to pharma players. To put it in perspective, the industry had been going through a rough patch during the past six months. It was only in the month of June '04, the pharma industry last came close to 8 percent growth.
