Jan. 24--Looking for something other than a hotel room for your next vacation? Dallas-based Hotels.com is launching a Web site today that hopes to tap that market. Vacationspot.com will offer online browsing and booking for about 2,000 condos, townhouses and private homes at more than 400 destinations worldwide. Company officials say the new site will take some of the hassle out of booking vacation properties, which have been slower to attract online transactions than other types of travel...
