Jan. 22--While Boeing is marketing its new 7E7 Dreamliner around the world, workers in Wichita are building tooling to help make the plane a reality.

It's an important next step in Wichita's role in producing the plane's forward fuselage section.

Because the 7E7 features a new design using high-technology materials and new production methods, the tooling also is unique.

The tooling, when completed, will have the same shape, contours and curvatures found in the 7E7's forward fuselage.
