PITTSBURGH _ The Pittsburgh Steelers may have been the opponent of the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. But they certainly weren't the focus of the Patriots.

The Steelers were playing Sunday night for a trip to the Super Bowl. But the Patriots were playing for their legacy as one of the greatest teams in NFL history. Pittsburgh just happened to be the latest opponent standing in the way.

A 41-27 victory over the Steelers bolsters New England's claim on a dynasty. The Patriots have now put themselves in position to win back-to-back Super Bowls _ a feat accomplished by only six other franchises in history.
