United Technologies keeps on rolling up profits; CEO sees even brighter 2005.

Jan. 22--United Technologies Corp.'s slogan reads: "This is momentum."

The company Friday showed investors what that means, releasing stellar revenue and profits for both the fourth quarter and all of 2004. Executives forecast even better results for the year ahead.

Fourth-quarter net income at UTC jumped 11 percent, to $650 million, representing earnings per share of $1.29 -- 2 cents higher than analysts had estimated. Quarterly revenue was $9.84 billion, up 15 percent from a year earlier.
