Jan. 22--Just three weeks after the Georgia Power rate case ended, the state Public Service Commission is considering a new -- although significantly smaller -- increase request in utility bills.
Initial hearings on an Atlanta Gas Light rate increase request began this week.
And as was true when the gas distribution company first filed its request in October, it began in a blur of numbers.
AGL's original increase request was for either $24.6 million, $29.4 million or $61.2 million annually, effective in May.
