MIAMI _ High-definition DVD players aren't expected in stores until Christmas, but studios have already announced the first wave of titles they'll be releasing in the two new competing formats. On the HD-DVD front, Paramount will offer "Black Rain," "Braveheart," "Grease," "Sleepy Hollow," "U2 Rattle & Hum," "Vanilla Sky" and "Forrest Gump."
Warner Bros.' initial slate of offerings for the same format includes "Dark City," "The Matrix" and "Harry Potter" trilogies, "North By Northwest," "Million Dollar Baby," "The Sopranos" and "Seven."
