--Goldstein Schechter Price Lucas Horwitz has named Carlos F. Garcia and Joaquin R. Urquiola partners in the firm. Garcia was senior manager of the firm's external audit and consulting practices and has more than 10 years auditing and consulting experience.

Before joining GSPLH, he owned and operated Total Support, a Miami-based consulting firm. Before that, he was vice president of finance and administration of Nanovation Technologies in Miami. Urquiola was senior manager and director of GSPLH's internal audit services practice and has more than 15 years auditing and consulting experience. Before joining GSPLH, he was a director of finance with MasTec in Miami, where he oversaw the financial operations for 15 of MasTec's U.S. subsidiaries. Before that, he was an operations manager and controller with Future Tech International and an internal audit manager with Watsco, both located in Miami.
