As the journalism world continues to grapple with former New York Times reporter Jayson Blair's journalistic fraud, the academic world has its own fresh scandal. This one involves serious accusations of plagiarism.

Earlier this month, publisher Little, Brown and Co. halted sales of "Pandora's Keepers: Nine Men and the Atomic Bomb," by Brian VanDeMark, a U.S. Naval Academy historian.
