Judging by its name, 1-800-GOT-JUNK doesn't seem like any place a college student would choose to work.
College junior Matt Monahan used to think the same thing.
Monahan was looking for the kind of job that every college student wants: something that would give him good experience and also be a resume builder. The full-time student at Towson University in Maryland went to the university's career office to begin his search.
When he saw the ad for 1-800-GOT-JUNK, Monahan, double majoring in economics and metropolitan studies, was not convinced that the business was the place for him, he said.
