SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. _ Friday was a good "positioning" round at the U.S. Women's Open for a few of the well-known stars. But it also was a big day for some players who've rarely been in this position.

The leader after two rounds is Jennifer Rosales, a Philippines native who tends to be easily recognizable, if nothing else. Rosales, 25, favors clothes of exotic colors and particularly small sizes.

At 5 foot 5 and 115 pounds, she still gets pop on her drives. She shot a 4-under 67 on Friday at The Orchards, which is still a bit soggy, and is at 5-under 137 for the tournament.
