ST. PAUL, Minn. _ The conservation group Pheasants Forever is making its move to cable television.
Officials with the St. Paul organization say Pheasants Forever Television will begin airing on the Outdoor Life Network in fall 2005, joining conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited in the use of cable television to build membership.
For the first season at least, Pheasants Forever Television will have a familiar host _ Ron Schara, the Minneapolis-based outdoors celebrity who has inked a deal to produce the show and sell advertising around it.
