Jan. 12--A few big office deals at the end of 2003 put a positive finish on what had been another poor year for the Triangle office market.
New and growing companies in the Triangle soaked up 286,000 square feet of office space during the fourth quarter, according to a survey by national research firm CoStar.
Yellow pages publisher R.H. Donnelley signed up for 73,000 square feet in Cary's Weston business park, where it will move its headquarters; telecom Qualcomm moved into 34,000 square feet as it set up shop in the Triangle, also in Weston.
