Police chase ends in shootout, driver's death.(The Dallas Morning News)

DALLAS _ Steering a stolen Ford Bronco with one hand and shooting at police with the other, Don Burns Jr., 41, drove into a northern Arlington apartment complex where a violent shootout with officers late Wednesday morning left him dead, police said.
"He had his window down and a gun in his left hand," said Glen Fulcher, 46, who stepped out onto his balcony at the Rivercrest Village Apartments off Green Oaks Boulevard when he heard the gunfire. "They (police) were right behind him. It was so unreal. It was like something off of TV. The shots were so loud."
Burns, who police said was from Arlington, was suspected of beating a man in Forest Hill and stealing the Bronco. He led police in Fort Worth and then Arlington on a chase ...
