MIAMI _ Lawyers say both Lionel Tate and his mother have now agreed he will accept a plea bargain that will bring him home by the end of the month.
''Lionel wants this and now that his mom says yes, it's a great relief,'' said Richard Rosenbaum, Tate's lawyer.
Tate's mother had been the last holdout to accepting a lenient plea from the state because she was concerned that he would have to plead guilty to second-degree murder rather than manslaughter and that he would have to serve a year of house arrest, lawyers said.
