Dec. 21--AUTOS: Honda will unveil a pickup concept Jan. 4 at the Detroit Auto Show as a teaser of a future model. Like the Subaru Baja, it is built on a car-based platform and has four doors and a short, open bed. Honda describes it as a "light-duty" sport-utility truck to separate it from truck-based pickups.
FYI: Silver was the most popular vehicle color in North America in 2003, the third straight year it took the top spot, according to paint supplier PPG Industries.
PPG says 24 percent of vehicles were painted silver. White was second at 16 percent, followed by red at 14 …
