Dec. 12--SOUTH END ATTRACTS NEW HQ: A Charlotte real estate firm plans to develop its own headquarters on a corner of South End yet to be swept into the revitalization movement.

Harris, Murr and Vermillion plans a two-story, 8,000-square-foot building at Park Avenue and Camden Road beside Price's Chicken Coop.

Partner Steve Harris said he had driven by the site probably 20 times a month without thinking of it as a headquarters location until real estate investor George Talbot brought it to his attention.
