GREEN BAY, Wis. _ The list of mistakes that Mike Sherman has made on players since becoming general manager of the Green Bay Packers is ever growing.

In turn, sportswriters would be negligent and fans wouldn't be fans if they failed to point them out.

But that doesn't necessarily make Sherman a flop in that area. Although that might seem like a logical leap, it doesn't hold true in the National Football League. And those of you who are ready to lump Sherman with Sal Bando _ a truly lousy general manager for the Brewers _ should be mindful of that.
