Ever wonder how much trans fat is lurking in an Oreo?

You can't tell from the nutrition facts label, as it's not listed. (It will be in January 2006, as per the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's mandate.)

But Kraft Foods, the maker of Oreos and hundreds of other crackers, cookies, cereals, etc., has recently disclosed the trans fat content on its website, www.kraftfoods.com.

Not all products have the disclosure, but many do. It makes for interesting reading:
