Stocks End Summer on Higher Note.

Thirteen of our 14 display-related stocks were in the plus column for the month ending August 31st, as the broad markets continued to post gains into the second half of 2003. One of our companies was off by only $0.02 so we may as well say that all of those we follow were up for a perfect score. Although it has been a shaky recovery, the stock market has delivered some positive gains over the past 5 months. September, however, is usually a tricky month for stocks. October also has a reputation for market surprises, so we will watch the action carefully in the months to come.
