Cheers to PETA for its work on behalf of abused animals, and cheers to Ann Martin for enlightening us about it ("Researching Pet Food," October 2003, p. 64). I, for one, switched my brand of pet food to one on PETA's list of those that don't engage in animal testing, and I encourage others to do so as well.
