After launching Nicaragua's first commercial GSM 1900 service on 2nd December 2002, Enitel Movil has now captured a 20 per cent share of the national mobile telephony market. Enitel Movil's new network covers the cities of Managua, Leon, Granada, as well as Matagalpa, Jinotega and Esteli in northern Nicaragua, Juigalpa in central Nicaragua, Bluefields and Puerto Cabezas on the Atlantic coast and connecting roads in the Pacific area.
