CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Law enforcement officers seem to be everywhere at the capital murder trial of Washington, D.C.-area sniper suspect Lee Boyd Malvo.
On the first day, sharpshooters peered through binoculars from the rooftop of the Chesapeake Circuit Court building. Law enforcement officers still cluster around courthouse entrances and exits. They take up fixed positions on every floor of the courthouse and at temporary barricades that seal off some roads leading to the courthouse.
