Feb. 7--After 15 years in Wichita, first as the head of the St. Joseph Medical Center and later as president and chief executive of Via Christi Health Systems, LeRoy Rheault has announced plans to retire.
Rheault, 62, told the Via Christi Board of Directors that he will retire from his post as its top executive next January.
His departure will also mean the loss of a tireless volunteer who has been deeply involved in community organizations, particularly the United Way.
