Feb. 7--PROVIDENCE, R.I.--A former Johnston resident and Fidelity Investments employee was convicted Wednesday of participating in a fraud scheme that cost Fidelity $2.39 million.
In U.S. District Court, Providence, a federal jury found Richard Callipari, 39, guilty of conspiracy, wire fraud and obstructing an investigation by the Securities & Exchange Commission.
All charges were in conjunction with stock trades Callipari was involved with in 1997.
