The wife of embattled Raiders center Barret Robbins said Friday that a statement is forthcoming that will clear up the cloudy circumstances surrounding his being barred from playing in the Super Bowl last Sunday.
Robbins' wife, Marisa, told the Contra Costa Times that she and her husband are working with Robbins' agent to compose a statement that they intend to release in the next few days.
"There's a lot of bad stuff out there," Marisa said in her first interview since coach Bill Callahan barred Robbins from playing in the Raiders' 48-21 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl. "Everything will get cleared up." ...
