EAST LANSING, Mich. _ The following is a quiz:
The "Izzone" fan section at Michigan State's Breslin Center routinely reached high decibel levels . . . CBS camera crews pitched tents in East Lansing, knowing that it wouldn't be long before their next game there . . . Magic Johnson, a Spartans' alum, was a regular at practices.
The year: 1999, 2000 or 2001?

For three glorious seasons, Michigan State was the center of men's college basketball. The Spartans went to three consecutive Final Fours, winning their first national championship in two decades in 2000.
That year, coach Tom Izzo, for whom the Izzone is named, took home the award of "Michigan's Best," ahead of such people as Scotty Bowman and Grant Hill.
