Washington State latest Pac-10 flop.(The Orange County Register)

PASADENA, Calif. _ You haven't heard this one lately, but thank the Lord for UCLA football.
Without the Bruins' magnificent Las Vegas Bowl performance against New Mexico (167 yards total offense) the Pac-10 would be empty-handed this bowl season, with USC-Iowa remaining.
Of course, they were also empty-coached, with the Bruins revoking Bob Toledo's parking pass and changing his office locks, and maybe that was Washington State's problem.
The Cougars were double-coached in the Rose Bowl, by outgoing Mike Price and incoming Bill Doba. They also double-clutched their way to a 34-14 loss to marauding Oklahoma.
