IRVING, Texas _ Bill Parcells has always surrounded himself with good people, and, for the most part, the same people. In his stops with the New York Giants, New England and the New York Jets, there's been lots of carryover in assistant coaches.
Parcells on Wednesday confirmed to ESPN what The Dallas Morning News reported Monday _ that he had agreed to a four-year contract valued at between $16-18 million. Parcells' agent Jimmy Sexton said Parcells has signed a four-year contract worth $17.1 million. Parcells is expected to be announced as the sixth head coach in Dallas at a Thursday afternoon news conference.
