DALLAS _ LSU sophomore quarterback Marcus Randall will remember his first bowl game for a spectacular first half _ and for a second half that came apart spectacularly.
Randall, forced into the forefront by a midseason injury to the Tigers' starting quarterback, looked like an instant SBC Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame inductee as he motored the LSU offense down the field early Wednesday.
The Tigers scored on three of their first four drives to take a 17-7 lead. And on the non-scoring possession, they moved 62 yards before being penalized 5 and losing 18 on a sack.
