Jackson-Bond

Jennifer Olivia Jackson and Chadwick Davis Bond were united in holy matrimony in a candlelight ceremony on March 10, 2001, at Coy United Methodist Church in Preston with the Reverend John Branning officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jackson of Preston. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kinsman Ford and the late R. A. Harbour and Mrs. Earl Jackson and the late Mr. Jackson. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Bond of Hickory. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cayce Bufkin and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Bond.

The wedding music was presented by Mrs. Olivia Reese, pianist; Mr. Hal Reese, Jr. and Ben Reese III, trumpeters; Dr. Claire Fox Hillard, violinist; Ms. Emilia Massengale, harpist; and Mrs. Marci Ferguson and Dr. Bob Hermetz, vocalists.

Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose for her wedding a designer gown of white pearl Italian satin with an elongated fitted bodice embroidered with bugle beads and seed pearls. The princess skirt flowed into a chapel-length train encircled with pearls. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from a headpiece of pearls. She carried a nosegay of white and cream roses mixed with stephanotis and pearls and intertwined with Alencon lace from her mother's bridal veil.

Leigh Jackson served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cayce Ann Bond, sister of the groom; Nicole Cooper; Susan Livingston Flowers; and Danielle Williams.

Davis Bond served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Bond, Brian Bufkin, Ken Rowell, and Mark Sellers. Ushers were Tim Livingston and Chris Stamper.

Suzannah Gilder served as rose petal girl. Ring bearer was Hal Duplantis. Reese Duplantis and Jacob Luke served as program attendants, and Josie Gilder was bubble girl. Linda Brewer directed the wedding.

The fairy tale reception, conceived and designed by the bride's cousin, Susan Flowers, and assisted by Gene and Jane Livingston, was hosted by the bride's parents in the Family Life Center. Centered around a beautiful English garden motif, lavish floral decorations were interspersed with treasured family momentoes. Guests enjoyed music presented by Ms. Massengale, harpist.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Lake Tiak-O-Khata in Louisville. Northwood Country Club was the setting for the bridesmaids' brunch hosted by Mrs. Kinsman Ford.

After the honeymoon, the couple is residing in Hickory.

Jenkins-Bryan

The historic 1856 Shubuta Baptist Church was the setting for the November 4, 2000, wedding of Emily Ruth Jenkins and Michael Brooks Bryan. The Rev. Charles Barnett of Philadelphia officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne "Butch" Jenkins of Shubuta. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Macias of Hattiesburg, Mrs. Vivian Ruth Jenkins of Waynesboro, and the late Mr. Thomas McRae Jenkins, Sr.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank "Sparky" Bryan of Philadelphia. He is the grandson of Ms. Imogene Phillips, Mr. Jack Thrash, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Bryan, all of Philadelphia.

Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Libby Owen, organist, and Mrs. Beverly West, pianist. Vocalists were Miss Lori Joyner and Mr. Billy Rascoe. The program attendants were Kaylee Hill, Abby Skidmore, and Tyler Stokes. Presiding at the guest registry was Danyale Odom. Directing the wedding was Mrs. Margaret Evans.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of white satin and tulle. The fitted bodice with its square neckline and long, tapered sleeves was embellished with Alencon lace covered with pearls and iridescent sequins. The full skirt of layered tulle featured a detachable cathedral-length train. Her veil of tiered illusion was edged with silk cording and cascaded from a headpiece of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white bridal roses adorned with Italian ruscus.

Kimberley Ann Jenkins, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Cochran Allen, Margaret Owen Cook, Kelly Michelle Johnson, Stephanie Rascoe Lewis, Jill Marie Martin, Tonya Covington Stevenson, and Ginger Miller Light. The attendants wore floor-length fitted gowns of wine matte satin complemented with gloves and chiffon stoles. They carried bouquets of fall flowers and hypericum berries adorned with Italian ruscus.

Serving as flower girl was McKenlie Jade Graham. Jeana Paige Santmyer served as the bride's proxy at the rehearsal.

Frank Michael Bryan served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Kenneth Dustin Cheatham, Barry Joe Richardson, William Keith Thrash, Christopher Steven Ezelle, Robert Chad Lewis, Anthony Todd Reeves, and William Chad Fox. Ring bearer was John Dylan Ely. Ushers were Pierce Lee Clark, Thomas Scott Clark, Brent Eugene Smith, and Robert Allen Thrash.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception honoring the couple in the fellowship hail of the church. Following the wedding rehearsal, the groom's parents hosted a dinner at the historic Quitman Train Depot.

After a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Philadelphia.

Jenkins-Fulcher

Jennifer Leigh Jenkins and Robert Lance Fulcher were united in marriage at six in the evening on June 16, 2001, at Benton United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Warren Jenkins of Benton. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Taft Webb of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin J. Jenkins of Benton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Metts Fulcher of Quitman. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hillman of Madden and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Long and the late J. U. Fulcher of Louisville.

Dr. Roger McGrew officiated the double-ring ceremony. Worship music was presented by pianist Margaret Evans and vocalists Casey Hesser, Kenny Hillman, and Michelle McCann.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of duchesse satin. Embroidered satin fashioned the corselet top embellished with contrasting cafe rosettes and seed pearls. A band of embroidery matching that on the bodice encircled the hemline of the A-line skirt and chapel-length train. Her veil was of tiers of illusion edged in silk cording. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Virginia roses interspersed with gardenias and accented with silk tulle and ribbon.

Jennifer Long served as matron of honor. Donna Peninger served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Aimee Baggett, Angela Friedenriech, Jessica Jenkins, and Misty Lacey. The attendants wore gowns of taupe chiffon styled with sleeveless bodices encircled at the empire waistlines with matching beading and A-line skirts. They carried hand-tied bouquets of Anna roses surrounded by pink wax flowers. Chloe Jernigan served as flower girl.

Bobby Fulcher served his son as the best man. Jason Doggett, Kyle Fulcher, Hop Hopkins, Randy Jenkins, Greg Read, and Adam Weems served as groomsmen. Peyton Crawford, Tyler Rogers, Cory Sims, and Alex Brady served as ushers. Trace Jernigan served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at their home. Music was provided by Gilmore. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal supper at Benton Country Club.

A bridesmaids' luncheon was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill McNair hosted by Molly McNair. A groomsmen's luncheon was given at the Benton United Methodist Church hosted by Margaret Evans, Paula Evans, Rosemary Hopkins, and Elaine Read.

Following a honeymoon trip in Jamaica, the couple now resides in Starkville.

Johnson-Robinson

Krista Adele Johnson and Wade Donovan Robinson were married on July 28, 2001, at four in the afternoon at the Chapel in the Glades in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis W. Johnson of Taylorsville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Billye Duckworth and the late Mr. B. P. Duckworth of Mount Olive and the late Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Johnson of Taylorsville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Robinson of Taylorsville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Robinson of Taylorsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hill of Taylorsville.

The Reverend Dan Saffelder officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Missy Saffelder. Soloist for the occasion was Justin Johnson, the brother of the bride, who performed "How Do You Fall in Love" following the lighting of the unity candle.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin bridal gown by Private Collection. The gown, white with ice blue and platinum hand-embroidered flowers, featured a strapless corset-style bodice, a full pleated skirt, and a chapel-length train. Her veil of silk illusion fell from a tiara of pearls and blue Austrian crystals. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses, carnations, and lilies hand tied with a white organza ribbon.

Attending the bride as the matron of honor was her sister, Melissa Stringer. Her bridesmaid was Amanda Mowinski. The attendants wore two-piece gowns of periwinkle blue satin and carried single yellow roses, surrounded by fuchsia baby roses. Anna Kennedy, cousin of the groom, in a white satin dress and floral halo, served as the flower girl.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was his brother, Heath Robinson. Justin Boykin was his groomsman. Brandon Stringer, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a wedding reception at the Park Vista Resort Hotel in Gatlinburg. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Calhouns Restaurant in Gatlinburg. Entertainment for both events was provided by Brett Cummins, a friend of the groom.

After their honeymoon in the Smokies, the couple returned home to Hattiesburg. The groom is a mechanical engineer with Mississippi Space Services at Stennis Space Center in Picayune, and the bride is pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi.
