Nov. 21--University City's rapid residential growth has spawned a new $10.million shopping center in northeast Charlotte.
Raley-Miller Properties, a development company owned by Charlotte real estate veterans Larry Raley and David Miller, recently started Cochran Commons on 11 acres at the northeast corner of Mallard Creek and Mallard Creek Church roads.
The 85,000-square-foot center will be anchored by a 41,500-square-foot Harris Teeter and a 15,000-square-foot Walgreens drugstore. Miller said Walgreens will open in about a month and the remainder of the center …
