SAN JOSE, Calif. _ The San Jose Sharks say they don't have someone lined up to turn their disappointing 8-12-2-2 team back into playoff contenders.
But don't be too surprised if a long-term coaching decision has been made and it's only a matter of working out the details.
"They must have something in mind. In these situations, you just don't do it blindly," said John Davidson, the former NHL goalie who serves as a hockey analyst for ESPN and Hockey Night in Canada. "You just don't let somebody go _ or let everybody go _ without having an idea."
