The St. Louis Rams, the Greatest Show on Turf, were back in town _ the team with the all-star cast of offensive weapons, the team that had ended the Eagles' Super Bowl dream just 10 months earlier.
The Eagles' defense spent the entire game on the high wire, with no safety net. There was no margin for error. With third-string quarterback A.J. Feeley making his first NFL start, a single mistake could have meant a loss. Another loss to those Rams.
"That's Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce," Eagles cornerback Troy Vincent said. "That's the most potent offense I've ever seen. Today was our day. The way we played today, you can't ask for more than that."
