Aug. 17--For outdoorsy Tallahasseeans, the question lately has been: To DEET, or not to DEET?

But there's another weapon beyond bug spray you can deploy to keep those skeeters at bay: a bug suit.

"People always laugh about them -- but they end up wearing them anyway, said J.C. Gayhartt, the owner of Trail & Ski, a shop on Capital Circle Northeast, in the Esposito Gardening Center plaza.

Gayhartt had four bug suits in stock Thursday, including the one on display. At least one other store in town -- the Army Navy Store on North Monroe Street -- also had a few bug suits on hand. And bug suits also can be ordered directly off the Internet. …
