Gas Prices in Florida Fall, But Pump Watchers Say It's Temporary.

Aug. 25--The good news: Gasoline prices in Florida dropped more than 5 cents a gallon over the past month, to $1.34 a gallon for self-serve unleaded, according to a new survey by AAA Auto Club South.

The bad news: Expect them to creep back up in time for the Labor Day holiday this weekend. In Tallahassee, Friday's citywide average for regular already was up to $1.43, according to AAA.

Blame it on OPEC, or Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, the multinational organization that provides much of America's foreign oil.
